Professional Experience:

Consultant, Jolicoeur & Associates, providing project management expertise.
Prior to joining Jolicoeur & Associates, Amy held project management, program management and actuarial roles at Madison National Life, now a Horace Mann company, for over 15 years.  She excelled and thrived on cross functional team leadership, successfully running various projects involving senior management, multiple internal department leadership and support resources, third-party administrators, external clients, external partners, insurance product brokers, and contract IT developers.
Amy also held product management, project management, IT liaison, and various actuarial roles at CUNA Mutual Group, now TruStage, for over 13 years.


Accomplishments:

While at Madison National Life, Amy

  • Built trusting relationships with external clients, insurance product brokers and internal build team to effectively drive multiple short-term, simultaneous implementation projects of a benefits enrollment system.  Additionally, designed, directed, and performed quality assurance testing of benefit enrollment system setups as well as led client system training to ensure long-term successful implementations.
  • Ran multi-year project to replace and customize existing group disability and group term life group and claims administration system resulting in significant streamlined processes and efficiency gains. System design and testing was so successful, there was negligible downtime after “flip the switch” implementation.
  • Led project to roll out new short-term disability product in a new sales channel in six months.
  • Reengineered monthly, quarterly, and annual individual life and annuity reserving and reporting processes resulting in reduced financial reporting turn-around time, increased accuracy, clear audit trails and documentation.

While at CUNA Mutual Group,

  • Accountable for product strategy development and execution, including P&L results, and strategic alliance partner management for a brokered vehicle service contract product line. Led the coordination, in a highly matrixed environment, of all functions that impacted product design, marketing, sales and service.
  • Led the integration of the vehicle service contract product onto a web-based quoting and fulfillment system. Implemented requirement of web-based system use for all new accounts and managed soft transition for existing accounts using paper applications or previous software, thereby streamlining processes for the customers and internal service areas.
